Hi everybody,
(Watch me procrastinate for a few minutes)
So I drive The Lovely P downtown this morning,
Just like every other morning,
'Cause that's where she works - downtown.
Anyway, this guy beside me honks and waves,
Lowering his window.
So I put mine down and he tells me that
My left rear tire is really low.
Later I look at it and it really is.
Really low.
Really.
So I drop her off and
I stop at a service station on the way home and put some air in the tire.
Then I proceed back to the house to get Rosie
(Sophie decided years ago that she has to help take her Mum to work)
When I park, I walk back to the tire and look for nails/screws etc.
I can't see anything but,
Now that I'm on a quiet street,
I can hear the air escaping from the tire.
Sssssss...
So I take Sophie inside and drive the car over to Simon's
('cause it's just a couple of blocks away and he does good work)
Then I walk home,
Get the dogs
And walk to the park.
I should really get those dogs leash-trained properly.
My shoulders hurt from restraining them all the way to the park.
On the other hand,
Coming back up the hill was fairly easy with both dogs towing me.
And now we're home again.
Though I just noticed my coffee cup is empty
And I think I need a smoke.
So I should probably do something about that.

Dear oh dear,
I have been deposed for a short span.
Too bad peeps,
Now I'll have to make an post.
So it's Wednesday,
Middle of the week,
Hump Day.
The day people can't seem to spell properly.
Whatever...
I usually honour (honor for my American friends)
The central day of week
By wandering the streets wearing furs and
Carrying a large axe
(swinging it too if you encroach on my cross-walk - you Bastard)
I'll usually have an eye-patch on
And be accompanied by a pair of Ravens.
Sometimes I'll go downtown to the 8 street train station
And I'll chat with the crack dealers.
I like to get real close to them
And spit when I talk.
I find this quite amusing.
They just smile and nod,
Knowing that it's never wise to mess with
A dude with two Ravens and an Axe.
And really,
Can you blame them?
Me,
I always think to myself,
What would Buffy do?
